Circular Dichroism (CD)

Acces to the device is free of charge. With long measurements (multiple melting curves, taking many days) users might be ask to contribute to the running costs for the N2 gas stream.

Bio-layer interferometry (BLItz)

Acces to the device is free of charge. Users can either obtain their own biosensors from VWR or forteBio (96er pack) or buy them individually from the facility.
The facility normally offers the following sensors:

Chip Catalog number (VWR) each
Protein A (ProA)  733-2137 8.00 €
NiNTA (NTA) 733-2142 9.50 €
Streptavidin (SA) 733-2145 9.50 €

Isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC)

Access to the device is free of charge. There are currently no running costs involved.

MicroScale Thermophoresis (MST)

Access to the device is free of charge. Special glass capillaries are necessary for the measurements. User can buy those directly fromNanoTemper (1000/200 batches respectiverly), or buy them individually from the facility. The ligand (target) needs to be fluorescently labelled. NanoTemper offers a protein labelling kit, which supposedly works best with MST.

Product Catalog number (NanoTemper) each
Premium Capillaries MO-K025 2.25 € each capillary
Standard Cappillaries MO-K022 0.60 € each capillary
Standard Cappillaries (Pack of 200) MO-K022 120.00 €
Protein Labeling Kit RED-NHS MO-L001 100.00 € each reaction

Surface Plasmon Resonance Spectroscopy (Biacore)

Access to the device is free of charge. There are currently no running costs involved. Chips have to be bought by the users directly.
